I told myself that I would never do it. I conceded to breaking the sticks off of suckers and I even wore a beret to Lyon School for a day (it was ridiculous) but I never thought that I'd follow my father down this path. Apparently, I was wrong.
It seems like all of the men in my life are blogging these days. Besides just reading the rantings of a boring old white guy, I check what my younger brother John and my older cousin Dan have to say on a daily basis; I can't decide about whom I like reading the best.
So once again I am following a trend started by my dad. From here on out, I will be Joe Tracy, blogger. Sends chills down your spine, doesn't it? I'm not exactly sure what I expect to get out of doing this, but lately I feel like I have a lot to say. I worry that I'm not as creative as the other writers in my family, but I'll give it the old "college try."
So once again dad, you win. At least I was right about the McGriddle.

Welcome to the club; you are now a man. Or at least a blogging man.
ReplyDeleteBut I maintain the jury is still out on the McGriddle. Remember what Mao Zedong said when asked what he thought of the French Revolution: "Too soon to tell."
Dad's wrong about the Mcgriddle (and the computer.) But, you're both right about blogging. I heard good stuff about your running today. Peace!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are getting older and wiser.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations today on your return to the practice of track and field.
Way to go!! Love you,
